My name is Gunilla Arhall, and I'm a concrete and mosaic artist in Kristinehamn, Sweden, where i also have my wonderful and well equipped studio. The studio is located just two kilometers from one of Picassos most astounishing works, a huge concrete sculpture located at the waterline of Swedens largest lake, Vanern.
About me; I have been taken classes for a number of different artists, in both Sweden and San Francisco Bay Area, where I lived 2001-2006. In US, I learned stonecarving, sculpture in clay and Plaster of Paris, as well as oil and watercolor painting. I went to UC Berkeley, Richmond Art Center, as well as private class for Zahava Sherez and others in Oakland and Berkely.
I also have a Masters Degree in Culture Sience and Archaeology from Stockholm University.
I also wrote a manuscript for a novel during the years in SF Bay Area, which now a publisher showed serious interest in.
Artmaking and Classes:I make art for public as well as private spaces, I continually teach casting and sculpting in concrete, I teach the art of mosaics, and I give the opportunity to Creative Painting.
I serve you with canvas and a lot of acrylic paint, you paint from the heart. Its is not a regular class, I dont teach you how to paint. I just support you in your own creative journey, for a coulpe of hours.
